Feeling bad today

For the first time this year, I'm starting to feel depressed. Because of my surgery and the Corona virus, I have only worked four and a half weeks this year. I tried to pay some of my medical bills, but I haven't had money. I got help with utilities and rent for a while. I got my stimulus check. I am getting help from legal aid with the credit card

I'm not quite on as bad shape as you since I am still working but I'm looking at between $2500 and $3000 in hospital and doctor bills. Plus I still owe my student loan. I'm just going to send the hospital $50 a month and they are going to have to accept it.

I wish it was that simple for me. I have separate bills from doctors, hospital, ambulance, ER, radiology, etc. Why can't they consolidate, especially now.

Ugh, I am really sorry about your current predicament. So many are suffering financial woes right now, it's very worrisome. I'm glad that you only had a sinus infection, though. Phew! *gentle hug*

I don't know if you read my posts from earlier this year or not. I had a heart attack on January 5th and heart bypass surgery on January 7th. That's where most of the bills are coming from.

I really wish that I had something insightful or helpful to say. I'd say that yes you should still try to see about financial assistance.

Would the lawyer who's helping you with the credit card stuff know if there's anyway that you can consolidate all of your medical bills? Or who you can go to?

You'd think right now that all of these medical companies that are billing you would want to work with you to ensure that you will pay them. You'd also think in a crisis like this right now, they'd be more forgiving. That said, have you called your doctor's office to find out why the bill is so high?
