The catalyst behind this update was a recent news story about racist chants at football (soccer) games in Spain. Basically, a bunch of fans started making "monkey chants" (noises that are supposed to sound like monkeys) at a black player on another team. Driving to work today
I was a little pissed off, as my mechanic had said to come in early and have the car checked out in terms of passing smog. Only he was working on another car when I got there. And continued to do so for 30 minutes. Eventually I rescheduled for tomorrow and drove off, feeling mildly peeved ( Read more... ) -
More Car Drama
So someone broke into the Saturn last night. The only things they took were my sunglasses and the registration. The only damage was to the overhead light, whch is hanging from its wires. I think that it can be repaired relatively easily. They couldn't get into the trunk because the lever is broken and you need a key, not that they took much from ( Read more... ) -

The iPod has rediscovered Menu functionality after updating the iPod software. Oddly, after I've updated, it still claims that it needs to be updated, which, along with the fact that it periodically causes Windows to scream about a damaged disk, leads me to believe that something is wrong in the innards of the thing, which wouldn't be too ( Read more... )
