Well, it's official, the new uber-compy is together, and this is my first post using it...and it is soooo fucking fast!

Looks really cool too, the lighting scheme in the case worked out better than I had hoped...maybe ill post some pictures at some point.

A rare celestial event happened this morning at sunrise. Venus "transitted" the sun, so that venus could actually be seen against the backdrop of the sun (think of it as a itty-bitty eclipse). Well, school is over for the summer. The past few days have been just about working and basking in the land of not-many-responsibilities. I'm pretty sure I did very well, with one exception. One week left and I am done with school. I just got a few test grades back, and I'm now a bit more optimistic about my grade. Somehow I managed to pull off a 100% on my math test, which is amazing because I made guesses (albeit educated guesses) on half the test. Guess I just really got lucky ( Read more... )

Yes, I am back...my adventure on the west side of the country is now over. Kind of sucks, considering it didn't drop below 75 when I was out there, and it was 45 here when I came back. Ah well, I'm sure decent weather will prevail eventually ( Read more... )

Tonight was definitely....um, interesting. Went up to Beedub's in Lake Orion with a couple of friends. Proved to be a great night, even thought the Wings lost. Now to nurse a hangover and other injuries incurred....
