I was listening to the wrong music while I was writing this. Every so often I had to get away from my computer while writing it because I was remembering the Face of Boe scene and Doomsday.

My god...you know I dont think it ever even occured to me to think about the doctor's death till you wrote this. Made me very aware of how close our beloved doctor is to...well not being around anymore. you completely broke my heart, I love how you wrote Rose, so completely sad.

What's scary is that when I started on this, I wasn't planning on most of what happened in this fic. I knew it wasn't going to be DT's Doctor, but I was planning on going more into detail with the Face of Boe's death. I just chose music that gave this fic a life of its own in my head. Avril Lavigne and the Fray. You can probably take a wild guess about which songs.

I like far flung angst. If I could, I'd specialize in it. :)

But yeah. I just felt there had to be some explanation as to why the immortal man finally died, so I wrote my own.

But instead of just one dying... Everyone died...

Great story - despite the sadness, it had all the satisfying closure Doomsday lacked for me, and a very convincing SF background. Although I'd love to see Rose meet the FoB knowing he was Jack.

Thanks. It would be interesting to see how Rose would react knowing who the FoB really was. That was still just a trip when that little tidbit was revealed in The Last of the Time Lords. Especially the reaction from the Doctor. Rose would probably be just as interesting

This should be a complete no brainer for me, but what does SF mean?
