This is an interesting take on POTW: that Rose is the one who dies and Jack and Nine survive. I've seen fics where Rose dies and Nine lives, but Jack too - very intriguing :)
And Bad Wolf a possible creature of Gallifreyan myth - now that's intriguing too!
The idea of Jack and the Doctor burying Rose on Woman Wept is lovely, too. It would have been nice to see some more details of this scene, I think. And I like Jack's protectiveness of the Doctor here.
He'd heard his name called by her voice twice before since leaving Platform One.
I think you mean Satellite Five here - I was thrown for a moment when I saw that, because Platform One was where they went to see the Earth burn.
Oh, and this: the middle aged hair dresser
Um, Jackie (as we found out in RotC) was only 39 at this point. That hardly qualifies as middle-aged! is totally not saying that because Jackie's a couple of years younger than she is
I know that Jackie was only thirty nine, but I don't think her age was actually stated until series two. I loved Camille Coduri's portrayal of Jackie, but she did looked somewhere around Middle aged.
And thanks for pointing out those points. I've got to go through and edit everything a bit more carefully when writing at 4 in the morning. I've not quite broken that habit. I'll probably go back and edit this a bit at some point soon. This was just a quick draft with a single go over. I'm usually a bit more careful when it comes to things like that, but I think I was just too exhausted.
