So, sometimes, I like to talk about comics!

Fanboy wankery! Read it, if you want! )

Chris Claremont shot my love of comics in the head, resurrected it, then left it for dead floating between dimensions until it was rediscovered by an unlikely but spunky young chick from suburban. various.major.american.city, but then left dead again at the bottom of a harbor.

You forgot the mind-control/psychic bondage fetish!

P.S. Take me now!

Oh, Christy! How you keep me grounded. "Enough with the comics, what about the sex!"

And I agree, of course! I do still have the cuddly boyfriend. I really don't write about him here much, do I? I may have to rectify that with some more boyfriendly anecdotes, just for you!

uhm.yah actually Chris did have a mild stroke.... unfortunately it was just mild.

That's why he was delayed ruining.. err taking over Exiles since he was out of it for a bit.

Right, I knew about the health concerns, but that's all I knew.

Months ago my housemate Ian and I were talking about how nothing short of death would stop Chris Claremont from getting work writing comics. Then he fell ill! And we felt pretty bad about it, since we didn't want that responsibility of choosing which comic writers live and die, you know.

But then he came back, and, um, well, we started reconsidering again. (Also, Ian has a signed "Predator vs. Aliens" type thing that he would really like to see rise in value!)

he would have to die saving the earth from a flaming comet for that to raise in value.
