Every new fic you write becomes my new favorite. THAT SAID, THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER. I have loved it since the first draft you showed me, and I am even more in love with it now, for all the reasons I have shouted at you, and probably a few more. GOD I ESPECIALLY LOVE SEEING YOUR SHOUT-OUTS TO ME (ie every McCoy moment ever) AND MY OWN ~HANDIWORK

And God, just, the end. Gary and Gaila. TOS and reboot, getting a ship together, not dying, being badasses together, having sex and being strong and cracking wise. I just. PERFECT. I'm glad academy crack isn't ending (RIGHT) but if it was going to, this would be a really wonderful one.

GOD I AM JUST FILLED WITH EMOTIONS. IT'S SO HAPPY AND SAD. I want friends like this. I kind of have friends like this! It feels real. I just LOVE YOU SO MUCH.

Uh briefly stopping in to say: BECAUSE GARY IS AMAZING. Where is this Gary hate coming from?!!? Dude has his brain fried and tries to kill everyone, BIG DEAL. He and Jim were bffs before the unfortunate brain frying, so all this 'Gary becomes a psychopath and Kirk can't have more than one bestie so Gary has to be an asshole' nonsense is BAFFLING TO ME.
