OH MY GOD I JUST.

Like, seriously, the ending absolutely killed me dead. "I'D SUE YOU FOR SEXUAL HARASSMENT IF I WASN'T SO FLATTERED." THAT IS BASICALLY THEIR RELATIONSHIP IN A NUTSHELL.

Danny's mom is a fucking badass. No wonder she was able to raise Danny.

But I think my favourite part of this, besides all the inappropriately timed bickering, was how Danny called Steve a woman and then they both ignored it.

AND HERE IS WHY THEY BOTH IGNORED IT:

1) It happens 294728582949 times per day.
2) Kono would SIMULTANEOUSLY punch them both in the face if they sat around arguing over who 'had' to be the woman like it was a punishment, so they treat it as a casual misalignment!

One of my favorite parts of this show is that Danny's a Jersey boy. Dude, you wrote a fic that takes place in Jersey!

I loved every bit of this! The banter, Danny's mom, the family yelling, the other cops, that Steve's never used Windows, and OH YEAH MOST IMPORTANTLY Steve getting to eat real pizza! Because dude, that is the best day in anyone's life ever.

Is my Jersey showing through? I apologize. No one ever writes fic that takes place in Jersey.
