Related to all the whining on twitter last night, and definitely in the spirit of the primer -- that spirit being please think before you write.
Also re: primer -- just have to write the Kirk section and part 1 will be ready, woo. It's harder to pin down when things are glaringly terrifying about his characterization, aside that he's a boneheaded slut (versus Spock, who -- jfc, Spock, n/m, you'll see).
