Of course you wrote two of the fics I loved this year! Of COURSE you did. *beams*

(I refuse to be sucked into Kings. I REFUSE.)

AWWWW stop that!! right now!! i'm so glad ♥

I WAS, TOO, AND THEN I WAS BORED ONE WEEKEND? SO I WATCHED IT ALL? So you should definitely do that. Do it. Get sucked into Kings. It's not the best-written show, but god, there is so much potential in the world they've built? And it's insanely compelling? And fic-wise, I love seeing how people twist the bible stories for their fun slashy modern AU purposes. It's BASICALLY fanfic starring a hot dude and Sebastian Stan. one of us one of us

Oh my god, KINGS. I never did watch like, the last episode of that (and I watched it when it was ON, mumble years ago). Now I'm tempted to have a marathon.

I did the same thing!! I marathoned every episode in like, a week, and then saved the last one for TWO WEEKS LATER? IDK. It's a weird show but ugh I loved the world of Shiloh and they did such a good job adapting the Bible story's framework to the present day?? UGGGGGHHH KINGS, WTF.

They just... they created that universe and then sold it so hard I wanted to live inside it. And then Battlestar Galactica kind of did the same thing, later, and my feelings about BSG can fill a book.

Plus, Ian McShane. I didn't know about Sebastian Stan at the time. Kings was my first Sebstan exposure.
