So, I buy a Remington Model 597 .22 LR semi-automatic rifle.  Iron sights, synthetic stock, 10 round clip - nothing spectacular, just a nice plinking weapon.  I bought it used, so it required a little cleanup, which was fine.  The plastic clip seemed to be acting stupid, but to my amazement Remington made a metal clip that is available aftermarket ( Read more... )

I don't know what the Democrats have against Turkey.  I mean, they're a member of NATO.  They let us keep all those IRBMs there in the 60's aimed at Moscow.  Who wouldn't like Turkey?
