Week Two: Cleaning II: dusting, cleaning solutions and you, don’t fear the vacuum cleaner (unless you are a cat)
Week Three: Clothing Care I: reading care labels, sorting, doing laundry in a machine
Week Four: Clothing Care II: doing laundry without a machine
Week Five: Clothing Care III: mending, darning socks, basic alterations, leather care
Week Six: Budgeting: so you want to not run out of money?
Week Seven: Cooking I: knife skills (so you want to not cut your finger off?)
Spring Break!
Week Eight: Cooking II: boiling, simmering, and poaching
Week Nine: Cooking III: sautéing, panfrying
Week Ten: Cooking IV: roasting
Week Eleven: Baking I: quick breads
Week Twelve: Baking II: creaming (There will be cookies in this class. Attend.)
Week Thirteen: Baking III: risen breads
Week Fourteen: Baking IV: cheesecake (There will be cheesecake in this class. Attend.)
