Is that Robert Fagles' verse translation? That's the one I read, and I quite liked it.

I think there's only one Fagles translation of the Iliad. I like it. It's formatted like verse (in lines of approximately the same length, with line numbers), but somehow it doesn't seem like verse to me.

I'm glad you've read it! I keep wanting to discuss the stuff I've read and it's frustrating when I don't know anyone else who has.
