I got into a car accident today. I was standing at a red and this really, really, old guy in a Camero comes flying around a corner and rear ends me right into oncoming traffic. Thanks. I definitely will. This whole thing made things a little crazier for a while, but is probably a good reminder why I should take time out to talk to friends.

I think it has to do with taking one moment to pay attention to one thing completely... we don't do that often enough.

It's amazing that you walked out of that with only a sore back. Very glad you're okay. (I think I know what you mean about the lack of control, I've pushed it out of my mind because it all seems so hopeless. But maybe it isn't or maybe there's more to it. In any case, your post made me think over some things again, so thanks.)

It's cool to hear other people who've seen the same things I am... It's a funky mix: Gratefulness to be alive meets pretty much total lack of control. But, I figure it's better that the alternative.

Yeah true. Maybe things might turn out all right in the end despite the absolute lack of control, like they just did for you. Well, maybe.
