Thank you.

The Writers Forum had a Memorial Day potluck at one member's house, and their dog really attached herself to Jack. I was lucky to catch this moment, because it's "so very Jack."

I was looking through my photos last night to see if I had other pictures of him, and realized I did not. I realized I don't take many pictures of my friends at all, and that bothered me. I'm going to change that.

There's something sweet about having nice pictures of friends, taken on happy occasions.

You described Jack so well. I smile when I remember that "Christmas Rat" as Coleman christened it, and Jack's quirky side showing itself through his entertaining. I love a deadpan sense of humor, and his was razor sharp, almost unexpectedly so. I regret that I never got to know him outside of Premise and its functions. He was a remarkable man.

Well said Sarah. Jack was and is a special brother. Anyone who connects with two legged and four legged communities, encourages, entertains and educates those amongst us, while keeping his sanity and humbleness is one of a kind. He will be sorely missed. Brian Hemenway
