You know what miss about LJ. The conversations. Tumblr is not conversation friendly. How are you? How's life treating you? I am now retired, so hurrah!
Hey! I'm so sorry, I never got round to replying to your message at Christmas. I kept meaning to.
I'm going to try and do a catch up post soon - how have you been?
Its good you're writing again. B/A stories? I've been struggling for years to write, without success, but about a month ago I started again, original stuff. No B/A or fandom, I'm afraid.
I'm currently publishing a story on AO3 that I initially started a decade ago! (I guess the moral is never give up). Also, a bunch of other things, mostly B/A over the last two years, all still under a2zmom. Check is out if you're in the mood. The long story can be found here:
I'm good overall. Sadly lost my husband 2 1/2 years ago so that was tough. My boys are great. The oldest finally married his girlfriend after 12 years of togetherness. My youngest is happily dating a lawyer and living his dream as he now is an art director at the NY Times.
It's good to keep busy, and I know you're good at that!
Most of your news you'd already told me, though I didn't know that Z was dating a lawyer, and I bet the NY Times keeps him busy. Does he get to do any art himself?
Are you okay? You lost your husband suddenly as I recall, and I believe you were doing some stuff to the house? Did it include a boiler replacement? Memory of a gnat these days...!
Not bad -- my mother passed away about five years back, and I've changed jobs, but otherwise we're doing well. I stopped crossposting to LJ some time back but I can still be found periodically on Dreamwidth.
I'm sorry to hear about your mother, losing a parent is always hard. Do you like your new job? Is it in the same line as before?
I tried responding to a few cross-posts over the years, but I don't have a Dreamwidth and LJ wouldn't let me respond to them, sorry. Of course, its highly possible I just wasn't doing it right, but still. What do you make of Dreamwidth? Several people have suggested I get one, but I'm not sure about that. (It took months of nudging for me to get my LJ account!)

Hello! How are you sweetie? What's up with you?
In the last year or so, I've started writing again and have been posting to AO3. No cookie dough stories though.
