I had the cello player of a stringed quarter over my head when I was at grad school at Yale. And they would practice in his room with all the furniture moving. I swear they all wore tap shoes as well.

Wow, that must have been really annoying. Someone used to practice some sort of instrument in the apartment across the parking lot, but I could only hear it when I was outside. I can't imagine having people practicing right over my head. Although come to think of it, that might be better than the elephants. At least music is pretty, usually. *smiles*
I loved this. It amused me greatly. I don't know how elephants would lift weights, jump rope, dance, or do the splits, but there was just something in the way you wrote this that had me rolling. Nice job!
