Baby Arugula Salad with Roasted Figs and Shaved Pecorino
Serves four?
- 3-4 handfuls very young arugula (also called rocket in Britain and pretentious America)
- 8 fresh figs
- Hunk of pecorino romano (an aged Italian sheep's cheese)
- 1 lemon
- at least 1/3 cup olive oil
- fresh ground black pepper to taste
- salt to taste
- dab of Dijon mustard
- Cut the very top
