A fucking Scott Pilgrim movie.  Seriously?  That is nonsense.  Scott Pilgrim takes advantage of the format it's in.  For example, there is a scene in which the protagonist and antagonist(-proxy) enter a dollar store to fight to the death.  One panel later, they are shown armed with weaponry they have built from junk found inside.  Three panels

Wow, you just found out about that? I think it's been in the work since the first time somebody handed me Scott Pilgrim...2005, maybe? But yeah, I'm all nerdraged out. Also I am pretty good at ignoring Hollywood shenanigans. Everything is an adaptation these days.
