It's been forever since I've posted something.  I've been meaning to, but I've had other things to do and by the time I get them done, I'm not feelin' it.  I'm basically retired at this point, but even then, there is always some sort of Shit To Do.  Case in point:  I got "the letter" from the HOA about my cracked and buckling driveway back in March ( Read more... )

Very lucky with the driveway and the tree not getting into your services. Unfortunate for the cost, though.

And very much looking forward to the new, slimmer, you at TG or FC. Al and I have slipped on our diets this year, but fortunately the weight isn't bounding back as fiercely as we feared. We do still need to get on the ball.

And you know that Al and I applaud the thrift. We've made it to a bit of an art form (perhaps too far?), but the results speak for themselves.

Don't forget that they found that mountain lion cub a few years ago about 2 miles from both our houses. So we do tend to get all kinds of critters wandering our neighborhoods.

Definitely looking forward to seeing you on the 30th. Hopefully it will be a tard-free event.

Glad you got that tree taken care of!

You lost 75 lbs.??? That's roughly half my weight!

What's this "traveling" thing you speak of? :'C

I caught on with Spanish really quickly, quit 5 years ago since I never used it let alone traveled to a Spanish-speaking country, but am thinking about starting to re-learn it using Duolingo. I used to carry on conversations in Spanish, occasionally dream in Spanish and even cry in Spanish. ;)

I myself am trying to get back into shape. Lack of exercise in recent months (mostly due to my previous job) hasn't helped in that regard. DX
