if you really love the person you work out the fights and if you really love the person its not a shitty relationship, its a great one and youre happy that youre committed to them forever.

thats how i see it anyways.

But there are plenty of people who marry the wrong person and spend the rest of their lives miserable because there's such a stigma with getting divorced.

And even when you do marry "the right person", there's so much arguing and working through things. I suppose in the long run it's nice to have someone to spend your life with, but I just don't know. I don't think we should have to get married because society tells us that's the only way to be happy and the only moral way to raise a family.

but youre not commited to them forever. you can get a divorce, and in todays society, thats totally acceptable. marriage is something humanity just made up, for their own sake. if youre truly commited to someone, you dont need a piece of paper or a ceremony or their name to know that, or for other people to know that. the sanctity of the idea of marriage has been ruined by people marrying for a few months and then divorcing and repeating eight times. it seems like marriage is more of a title for the sake of others, not for the actual couple. im with you anna, i dont believe in it either.

I'm not even sure I believe in the idea of marriage. I don't think we're really suppose to be with one person for the rest of our lives. Maybe you're just suppose to be with them just as long as you're content and in love (if love truly exists...)

And who is this, by the way?
