man this election is crazy... first off theres bush supporters like me, who may not exactly like everything about him, but think he's best suited for the job over that puppet they call kerry. then theres kerry supporters, who have a bitter taste in their mouth at this point and have thrown around these wild assumptions about our OWN PEOPLE. calling ( Read more... )

People who ARE christian find it so easy to judge also, it goes both ways. And I am Christian and a very strong supporter of Kerry and don't think they contradict so don't go ragging on Kerry. :p

BTW, there's not hard feelings in this response, just my opinion and response to yours. :)

All right! Finally someone who agrees with me... Bush isn't perfect, but he's not as bad as everyone makes him out to be. I think Americans are so self-centered-- we're all more blessed than 99% of the other people in this world, but all Americans can do is complain that they need more for themselves...why should American tax money have to go to help other people (like the Iraqis)?
I say that since we are the wealthiest, most powerful country in the world we have that responsibility. How can we just stand back and watch, when so many other people in the world are suffering?

I don't really have anything against republicans, it's only BUSH that i have a problem with!
He is a total DOUCHEBAG!!!
Have you seen Fahrenheit 9/11???
I know some of it is "fake" or whatever but a ton of the actual FOOTAGE is not fake...
And i saw MORE then enough from that movie that I know I would never want a schemer, golfer, and piece of crap like Bush in the office...
And i honestly have NO IDEA how ANYONE in the world would support him...
That's why if Bush wins...
I don't get it.

Plus, how can you support Bush attacking Iraq???
First of all there was nothing in Iraq...
We were going there to find NUCLEAR WEAPONS or whatever right?
Weapons that Osama's buddies would be hiding...?
Well remember how we didn't find anything?
We just killed a shit load of innocent people for no reason, and now those people are going to hate us.
And most likely are going to want to jihad our ass.
It's stupid moves like that that are going to lead to some huge war, or simply us all dead.
Maybe they'll just nuke us, who knows.
Thanks Bush.

ok, first off i think you are forgetting that we got rid of a dictator with this war. trust me i questioned this war for a long time but i really think in the end bush made the right choice. you cant just sit there and watch people suffer and turn your back and act like nothing it wrong. just because its not a threat to our country doesnt make it right to not get involved.

ok kyle - as i have said before i love you!... and you know i'm christian - but as my relgion teacher said..."love the sinner not the sin" and as always - about teh gay marrage- this is how i see it - there 5 major religions in this world not one! and america is supposed to be a place of religious freedom- so if there is a religion that allows gay marrages - isnt thta that religions choice- just b/c christan don't support it can't some other religion support it - adn then b/c it's nto christain then does that make it less spiritual no - supposedly not in the states eyes- so there for there really shouldn't be a debate abtou gay marrage... thats what i ahve to say ( ... )

i do realize that this country is supposed to support a variety of religious beliefs, this is partly why i am kinda on the fence on this issue. on one hand i recognize homosexuality as a sin, and on the other i recognize there are people out there who have this uncontrollable weakness basically planted in them, and that makes them no less human than any of us. my main issue i guess is that marriage shouldn't include this because to me marraige means man, woman, and God. if our country had a system where anyone could get "civilly united" without any recognition from a place of worship (church, synogogue, mosque, whatever) then i would support it, and in the event that a couple wanted to be married in a church, that the church would decide whether the marraige is moral or not. in that case the christian church would deny gay marriage, not the state ( ... )
