Banjo time

Wes has lent me his banjo, which means, now I have to learn the darned thing.  I just got a book and an instructional dvd in the mail yesterday so it's really time now.  I like the sound of the banjo and I think that it will add a good sound and feeling to some of our songs, but I'm just not sure which ones yet.  The only one I'm sure I want to

Man......Ive been gaining a real respect for it as of late....was thinking of Picking it up myself

It goes with a lot of songs....listen to Led Zeps Gallows Pole (really a version of Prickle Holly Bush) off of Led 3.....it fits right in with the electric guitar and bass.....The Boggards can find room for it anywhere....

Are you sure you want to learn it???? I can try instead....I mean really.....its a LOT of arpeggios, and fingering....you don't really want to learn that stuff do you??.........

okay fine my midwestern roots are showing, but I love banjos and bluegrass.

I guess the boggards will just need to create a few more songs that require fiddle, mouth harp, and banjo. *Squeels in redneck glee*
