Chessie and sundry

Sunday and Monday morning were pretty rough for our girl. She couldn't keep much down, although that got better as time went on, and she's somewhat (very) incontinent again as she's off her medicine for a few more days. Awww... Poor Chessie! I'm glad she's home, at least. :)

I watched The Number One Ladies Detective Agency Sunday and absolutely loved it.

Isn't it a fun series? I absolutely love all the characters, but especially the assistant! Watching it makes me happy. :) ♥

It is a lovely, lovely show. Have you ever read any of the books? I've seen them but never bought one. Could be good beach reading material. *ponders*

Awww, good for Chessie. *hugs you and scratches behind her ears* Having a good, reliable and kind vet who'll go more than the distance is a wonderful thing.

So far, for the episode and a half I've seen, I like No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency quite well. Mom enjoys the books, and apparently there's a new one out.

I'm looking forward to the Star Trek movie, too. At first I was totally opposed, but as time has passed, my antipathy has waned through indifference to passive interest into some small feeling of anticipation. ;)
