Will someone 'splain the Sims to me? Apparently, Sims3 has just come out and there is discussion on my flist. Do I need Sims? Do they do anything or is it just like playing with virtual dolls? annimarie75, 'splain it to me!

The Sims are really neat. I haven't gotten any version since Hot Date and Unleashed, but I enjoyed the heck out of building houses and running the inhabitants' lives. Playing God is fun! I'm looking forward to getting my other computer up here so I can play again.

Mostly they are happy. Penny would like to be fed more often and Pixel would prefer no medicine ever please. ;)

it's like playing with dolls.
but you can build houses and stuff and I use them as a storyboard for stories and stuff. Sounds far fetched but I enjoy it. It's a way to escape. And some people create people they dislike just to kill them to take out agression. I don't do that but I like to play :)

here's some of the caps I made while playing it a few weeks ago..that was another story I'm playing with. Made a new set for a new fam

but I really don't like sims 3. they're too funky looking and it's not the same feel as 2

but anything is better than 1 now.:)
