I have a question though. Why would there be weapons stored in there? Don't those of us who are practicing have those?

I thought it would a place, like the gym, with the proper equipment to measure our skill and protective gear.

I don't see any reason for weapons to be stored there. The weapons on board are enough.

The real reason is that I was half-asleep when I put this up, lol derp scruffynerdhrdr April 1 2011, 14:45:37 UTC
Right! Shit!

I guess I wasn't thinking too clearly. Yeah, I think whoever wants to practice should bring their own.

Why don't you explain that to the good sergeant and see if it helps with his objections?

I also realized this may be Chuck outing himself as someone who has reason to use guns. :B scruffynerdhrdr April 1 2011, 14:58:06 UTC
I mean, he's right that having guns at all is risky...but so is working on an intergalactic prison ship with superpowered inmates, you know? I figure we need to be able to protect ourselves.

It's not a bad idea in theory, but I imagine the chances an Inmate could get their hands on a gun are pretty high, regardless of the precautions. If you could find a way of making everything virtual, that might be a better idea.

Yeah. Maybe I could work with some of the more future-y people to...

...wait a minute...maybe we could create a holodeck! I mean, it's way beyond anything I could do on my own in six lifetimes, but we have people from places where that kind of thing is normal, right?
