Building my Brick Wall...

I really hate myself sometimes... I just don't like how I let my emotions get the best of me. I really need to build a stronger barrier or shell for things like this. Thanks for those of you that noticed and tried to make me feel better (Hillary, you are the sweetest/cutest Co-Chair I will ever know, sorry Robert ( Read more... )

I gladly concede the Sweetest/Cutest co-chair award to Hillary. It was an honor just to be nominated.

PS from someone who spent high school in an emotional void, it's highly overrated. Don't. It takes a lot more strength to be honest about things.

Thanks Robert... the only problem is that I'm sick of trying to be strong and then having it fail on me... I'll be fine though

I want to see pictures of your adoreableness at the Spring Fling!

I love you Peter, and I hope that you don't hate yourself. I agree with Robert that emotions are a good thing, and if you try and build up a barrier it feels 100 times worse when the barrier falls, and it always does. You're strong and totally capable, and you have people that are there for you. Hang in there.

I get that feeling a lot, too. There's a lot that gets to me, and I try hard to not let it show but it just makes it worse, because you need to work from the inside out. I don't know if there's much to do besides stopping it from getting out of hand because most of the time things aren't as we think

This is probably the most sincere thing I will say to you...so PAY ATTENTION:

Ahem

If you use a metaphor that conjurs up Pink Floyd again...I'll slaughter you. That wasn't the sincere part. Heh. It's not worth closing yourself off emotionally. That's what I do and I have become a hardened bitch who, at times, can't find his way out of a wet paper bag with instructions. Honestly, no. Don't do it. It's better to talk to someone who ISN'T one of us because you know how we start drama.

I am now beginning to ramble, so I will stop. Bye.
