Good memory, now how about using that "head" of yours to think up some books/movies for me to incorporate into my summer...

Books:
In The Lake Of The Woods by Tim O'Brien
House of Splendid Isolation by Edna O'Brien (no relation...I think)
Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card
Dress Your Family in Corduroy & Denim by David Sedaris
Franny and Zooey by JD Salinger

Movies:
The Big Lebowski (a shockingly large number of people haven't seen this)
The Big Chill
Irreversible (really violent, so...you've been warned)
Saving Silverman
Go
Slackers
Goodfellas
The Royal Tenenbaums

That's all I can think of right now. Cheers Peter!

Thanks Jenna!!! David Sedaris is a genius, lol. I've seen the Royal Tenenbaums, good stuff... I'm definitely going to look into your other suggestions. Feel free to add any more that come to you, I plan becoming a pop-culture master this summer, lol

heeeeeeeey I read House of Splendid Isolation. Good book, but I thought making the chapters out of sequence really didn't help; you don't care about the protaganist 'til a little over halfway through the book. It's worth it afterwards, and perhaps even merits a reread to understand the first half, but it's got that sort of curve to it.

Why the hell is your entry so damn long? I don't have time to read all that. Um...movies are good? I'll think of some you should see, like old movies, cuz i know a lot of old movies...I don't read books, cuz im not smart. I dunno, I'll find some shit for you. Jeez...long ass entry. Yes, hang out with me before i leave, cuz im bored being at home.

hey! it's my journal and my entries can be as long as I damn well want them to be, bitch ;) And "old movies" doesn't really help me out, lol... but I definitely want to watch some old classics so definitely get back to me on the ones you've seen.

PS... yeah we really do need to hang out soon!
