Painting with red....

...really is as much of a pain in the ass as everyone told me it would be. But you know what? Totally worth it! Even if it did take three coats of red over the tinted primer, it still looks good. I am glad I only chose to do one wall in the red though, because I can't imagine how long it would have taken to do that many coats on the whole room

Ooo, both those rooms look great, Sarah! I'm not surprised it took you that many coats with the red. Actually, I'm surprised it took that *few* -- my brother and SIL painted his office red (http://www.beady-eyeddesigns.com/Temp/IMG_4219.JPG) and I think it took them SIX coats to get it just right. *g*

Like you, I think the green is my favorite -- makes me think of Old Olive cardstock. ;)

Oooh! I like your brothers red room too. Give him my compliments. And we may have to do another coat too. When we finally got done with the last one it was too dark to tell how evenly it had dried...well see in a couple weeks when we go back.

Once we get furniture in the green room I think I'll like it even more. It's so soothing....perfect to relax and fall asleep in.
