I think it's the gall bladder or something, I'm not sure. In the book The Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents, the rats are always talking about how it's a bad idea to eat "the wobbly green bit."

my kitty caught a sparrow that flew through the bathroom window in my old apartment, and left it by the bed for me in the morning. I'm sure I was just as surprised.

EW. I have 3 kitties here but luckily they have not left me any presents like that recently. In the summer time they like to bring me water bugs tho. EW.

So good in fact that I find the dead half eaten ones all over the house. Rogue likes to save them for later under the edge of the rugs. It's always a pleasant surprise to find them there lol!
