In the Sex Positive workshop the URA hosted today, one of the anonymous cards said:

Because we're told to think that anything beyond that isn't normal. Everything is normal. Some things are normative. With the type of diversity we have in the US, especially with things like gender/sexuality/culutral identity/economics breathing down our necks, it's time to just settle into our own skins, and build our lives the ways we know how, because even white picket fences need to be maintained and 50s housewives are alcoholics. We need to stop measuring success based on the "successes" of those around us.
