Greater Heathenry need to have something that can be pointed at that articulates in clear, rational, and accessible ways what Heathen Clergy actually *is* rather than what other people define and think it is.

I agree that the spiritual side of Heathenry has been lacking. I think that this is a result of not wanting to be like the general Pagan community who are more make it up as you go along and free flowing. I can remember Kris talking about her insights in Sif, which were based personal gnosis, and how she was told to not talk about that because it was not based on the written lore.

I also agree that Clergy need to have the soft skills as well, especially in the area of counseling. Clergy play a huge role in helping people in their daily, mundane lives.
