i am now down to one turtle. the catfish that i bought on friday, i found dead on saturday. that was a good investment. if i only knew how to say, 'you cheated me and sold me a bad catfish' in chinese, i'd take it up with the store i purchased it from. considering the fish was less than $1, i'm trying to let it go. it's more the principle of the

no, i never wanted to. i was talking to one of my swing buddies and he mentioned that he does it, so we're talking about doing it this week since he has off.

no tank, no filter. picture a large glass bowl....the only reason i got the catfish was to clean out the crud. i do have plants in there to add some oxygen. they could also climb on the plants to stick their heads out of the water for air. can turtles or frogs breathe like that? so do you think the problem was that i had too many folks in too small a place? they were fine for a few weeks...

thanks for the info. i thought catfish ate all the crap. guess i don't really need one then. so far mr. turtle is surviving and swimming around. he just looks lonely to me, but maybe he's enjoying the solitude. who knows.
