I had a long entry about how sick I've been these past two weeks, describing in all too intimate detail the symptoms I've had.
I will summarize:
Went to ER twice. Neither time could they figure out what's wrong with me. The first time they advised me to drink a lot of gatorade(my electrolyte balanace was off). The second time they prescribed something to be taken 4 times daily with food. Problem: one symptom is loss of appetite.
Went to another doctor. She advised eating ramen noodles.
I'm getting better. Significantly so. Not 100%. Not 75%. Hard to quantify.
Also lost 15lbs. New diet fad?
During this time, the one day I tried to work, my truck died. In the shop now. Still no diagnosis there.
Also in this time, hot water went out. 5 days to get replacement heater = 5 *very* stinky days.
I can't say it's been pleasant. But, anytime I start to dial the waaahmbulance, I put myself into perspective with my fellow man born to less fortunate circumstances. As usual, I'm pretty goddamned lucky.
