NO ON 8!!!

As th election approaches, I am CONSISTENTLY gobsmacked that ANYONE would vote yes on 8.  Some of these social troglodytes buzz merrily about with stickers on their cars proclaiming their bigotted stance.  It disgusts me to no end.  The day will come when they will be viewed in the same light as those who fought to keep slavery institutionalized.

Apparently many people are under the impression that churches who refuse to marry same-sex couples will lose their tax-exempt status under this law.

It's patently false, but since when does the truth matter in politics?

The other day a car with a Yes on 8 sticker stopped short in front of me. After I came to a quick halt, I had a fleeting temptation to accelerate again and bump them, or follow them to yell at them for being bigots.

Christine tried to get our dog to poop on someone's Yes on 8 yard sign, but the dog's not quite that well trained yet (nor do I think she ever will be).

I just have faith and hope that our notoriously leftie state won't let me down on this one.

Could apply very well here. Why deny such a large percentage of the population the same rights as everyone else? Love is love regardless of gender (or, in some cases, number of individuals involved).

You only fear what you do not understand. And if those people would pull their heads out of their collective rectums, they'd notice just how many people that they care for this issue directly affects.
