Went with some friends to Huntington gardens, built by a railroad baron .... 100 years ago? 50?? I don't remember the time frame. But their mansion is still there, filled with art, and the themed gardens are beautiful.

Got just under 10 miles on the bike today, in spite of it being windy. Used the bike to run the dog, who badly needed to stretch his legs and he was FLYING! A hound in full sprint is something to see anyway, and I swear he hardly touched the ground. Usually his initial sprint he gets up around 10 mph, but I think he was faster than that today. I went to a friend's Day of the Dead party last night, and it brought up some things in my head. My friend lives with his parents and his brothers, and it seems to work out pretty well.
