after a week of fun with he1ena i am back at school, working, and not laughing nearly as much as i did last week. she was very nearly exactly how i imagined she would be, and i had an absolute blast (still awaiting to see if she defriends me or not! ha ha ha!). we didn't actually do a whole lot. though we had a small halloween party in which everyone ( Read more... )

of course i would be happy to help with editing, although sometimes i feel i'm really getting rusty. nanowrimo is so intimidating! at the very least, it's rather ambitious. i know a few people doing it, and i quite admire the determination.

that's awesome you had such a great visit with he1ena, (though i'm a smidge jealous).

nepal sounds amazing! when would you be away?

it is very intimidating, but at least you know it is about quantity, not quality, so it takes one kind of pressure off! i hope you are jealous. i am still of the days i get to come visit your home and you mine! yeah, nepal is perhaps one of my favorite countries in the world, too bad about the lack of diving! (smirk). it is currently planned from abou the middle of march to the middle of april.

they probably were not any easier, i am just dumber! but really, all the others in SFI are taking a different test, svenska som en andra sprak, which i think gets them into the same program, not sure why they made me take this one!

yeah! very excited about the possibility of a new camera, yipee!

Are you on crack? I'll never defriend you. Well, maybe if you never come to Skellefteå to visit me. I'm surprised you thought I was everything you expected. I didn't feel like I gave my best performance. hahahaha. I had a great time. I miss you and Thomas!!! And the doggies!!! And the kamin!!

Sounds like you had a fantastic time! The party sounds hysterical, wish I could have been there.. *sob*

Great work with the test, good luck with the komvux (whatever the hell that is) one!

I am SO jealous about Nepal, I've always wanted to go there. Interesting that you are yearning for a Olympus e-500 ... so many people I know are obsessed with Nikon D70's ... are you a loyal Olympus fan?

yeah, if you were at the party then we probably wouldn't have zonked out! it is all your fault! ha ha ha!
komvux is like high school for adults. they are making me take the high school version of swedish in order to be able to go to university here. very frustrating. no idea why wesley and i ended up taking so much harder a test than everyone else, i hope they still let us in.
weren't you talking before about maybe going to nepal on your big trip coming up in awhile? would be fun if we were there at the same time!
not a real diehard olympus fan, but they have come out with a digi slr that is very compact and really resonably priced (the d70 is way out of my price range with all the lenses i need). and it still delivers high qualiity imagery. i have the oly 8080 now and am very pleased with it.

I'm not so sure of that, I might have zonked out before you!! Although I was a stayer last night, but I'm paying for it today...
Yes, I'd love to go to Nepal. I'm not sure whether it will be this trip or another trip. My primary focus was to get to Paris and also Devon in the UK, and I thought I'd stick a fun stopover in there, and thought Delhi/Nepal, but realistically it might not work due to time/money, but I'll try :) would be great to meet up there!
Ah sounds like a cool camera, I will look into it, the nikon is way out of my price range too .... *sob*
