what a week it is has been, i do not know if i sat down at all except when riding in cars! (don´t take me literally on that one!). but the week ended with two lovely things. first zoe turned two months old! i cannot believe it! time goes so fast! and second, yesterday i finally became a permanent resident in sweden! yipee! that is it

Norway seems to be moving in the opposite direction. They have stopped giving permenant residencies that are well, permanent.
Today's permenent residencies requires renewal every 2 years, which means an application plus 800kr 3 months before the permenant residency expires, a 1 month wait while the police re-examine your criminal record (or lack thereof), and a trip to the downtown central police station to get a new stamp that's valid for, guess what, only 2 years.
