unfortunately i missed jon stewart.
it astounds me that ohio could be so afraid of same-sex marriage that they'll just flush their economy and jobs down the toilet in favour of allowing gay people to have the same rights as the rest of the population. america's election system is retarded.
somebody put together an impeachment squad. bush has been lying about a hell of a lot more than a blowjob.

HAHAHAHAHA

true dat.

unfortunately, i think it's going to take a hell of a lot more than an impeachment squad to improve the sordid state of affairs down there.

did someone say electoral reform? what the fuck.

as much as i hate bush, neither side should be able to claim leadership of the gov't when the race is that close. proportional-fucking-representation, goddamnit!

yeah, agreed agreed.

also, how are they gonna impeach him when he controls the senate and the congress. but wouldn't that be nice? i highly doubt he'll get the senate back in 2006 however, because unless he fixes shit down there, his approval rating will continue to drop, and then something good can finally happen. in the meantime america, say goodbye to abortion rights, gay rights, privacy rights, and any other civil rights they can roll back and keep rolling back.

also, i meant to say "...in favour of NOT allowing gay people to have the same rights..." by the way.

hillary in 2008! ...so long as they don't assassinate her.

ugh...i can hardly even think about this anymore. it's madness and i find myself getting quite depressed by it all. i'm gonna go back to watching chris rock.

it would seem that 20 years of mass discommunication and product placement has rendered an entire generation of americans STUPID. how's your news, america?

i literally felt sick to my stomach for all of wednesday. however, i try to remind myself of the following things:
1. 50% of america hates bush. more to follow.
2. he can't dump his mess onto kerry and the democratic party, which would have been bad news. it would have ruined them. he's gotta fix it himself, which he won't, and he'll take a lot of heat for that. those americans who voted for him believe that he can make things right - he can't. and when he doesn't, there will be problems.
3. the democrats will likely become more liberal, now that they don't have the senate, congress, or the white house.
4. bush is going to fuck up. he's already fucked up tremendously, but by "fuck up" i mean that he'll fuck up in the eyes of the majority of the population. he'll get himself into trouble.
5. he'll lose the senate in 2006.
6. hillary clinton in 2008!
