I've never in my life had a nose bleed.

when i was a kid i had them every day and night. i had to have my nose cauterized to finally stop all the bleeding. the doctor who did it was a jerk and terrified me and is probably the reason why i fear doctors.

that, and because they have the potential to tell me very bad news.

I know from first aid that you're supposed to face forward during a bleed?

It always seems everyone believes the opposite (tilting head back), which makes no logical sense.

I can't begin to imagine having my nose cauterized. I can barely handle picking my nose in the dry winter season. Mmmmm
