Most of all, these are exactly the boys we fell in love with in season 1. It's great to see after all these years, they haven't lost this!

Both brothers have been to Hell and back (literally) but - in my mind,anyway - a big part of what's helped them survive is the bond they share, and it's always going to be the strongest when one or both is in trouble. And that will always be my favourite flavour of Winchester. Yum.

As for the banter, my inner smartass gets to live vicariously through Dean. *g*

Y'know I think I stumbled across this lore (or at least something similar) when I was researching my succubus fic!

I love how you've blended the lore with the show and anime - it really is such an awesome match.

And I don't think I'll ever tire of seeing the boys lean on each for support, whether it be emotional or physical. There's just something so endearing about seeing them push their own hurts aside for the sake of their brother!

I know I'll never tire of the boys leaning on each other. I'm not sure why TPTB insist on the brothers being at odds so much of the time for the sake of drama - we seem to be able to find plenty of ways to create conflict AND keep them working side by side. :-/

Anime saves the day! I knew it would someday! I'm the mother of anime cosplayers, and there's got to be SOME good use for this hobby! :)

I started researching, simply looking for a winter villain - and tripped across the anime connection. Sometimes you hit paydirt when you least expect to. It made this story a lot of fun to write.
