Revisiting 365 in 2008

So I'm revisiting my list of goals for 2008, it's funny to me how things change in 6 or 7 months and how things that seemed so important before seem sooo trivial right now. I tried to edit some of these items to make them fit a little better, and I also completed some. I'm slightly bored with this list, but that's just me.


  1. Finish my Master's degree.
  2. 5/21/08
  3. Apply to Ph.D. program at Fordham. 12/12/07 (yeah, last year but whatevs)
  4. Apply to Ph.D. program at Columbia. 1/1/08
  5. Apply to Ph.D. program at Teachers College. 12/15/07 (cheater, I know)
  6. Start a Ph.D. program.
  7. <-- I'll start in September "officially", but I've already had my admitted students weekend!
  8. Save 5 extra dollars every week in my savings account. 1/10/08
  9. Lose 25 more pounds by the end of 2008
  10. Whoopsie, didn't do this one yet.
  11. Lose 10 of those 25 pounds before April 1, 2008.
  12. So sad, didn't do this :(
  13. Lose 10 of those remaining 15 pounds before August 1, 2008.
  14. Make time to crochet.daily :)
  15. Get my yarn stash back down to one plastic storage box.
  16. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
  17. Finish the rainbow afghan.
  18. , I've made a plan...
  19. Finish Steph's scarf.
  20. Finish the flower afghan.
  21. Finish the black knitted scarf, started in 2006!!!
  22. Baby blanket 1/9/08
  23. Make a list of all yarn WIPs
  24. Finish sewing the apron.
  25. Babette blanket!!!
  26. I've combined this with the rainbow blanket!
  27. Find a data set before the start of ADA in January.
  28. Well, ADA is over, so I ended up with a data set, just not before January!
  29. Take more day trips, non-school related, into NYC.
  30. Clean Scully's tank.
  31. Sleep home a few nights.Holidays :)
  32. Spend a mother-daughter day with Mommy in January.
  33. Workout regularly with Eugene.
  34. And I do!
  35. BLOG about workouts with Eugene so that you stay on track.
  36. Write the paragraph for the Honors Program Alex has been asking you about.
  37. Take time for yourself.
  38. L.L.Bean ROADTRIP
  39. Go up to the cape.
  40. Hangout with Renee.
  41. Hangout with Amanda.
  42. Hangout with Matty.
  43. Hangout with J9.
  44. Hangout with Alex.
  45. Craft night with Alex and Alyson!
  46. Take a walk.A few times during this warm spell
  47. Go someplace interesting and take photos.
  48. Hang photos up!
  49. Go to Columbia and take pictures of the campus.
  50. Take pictures of MSU's campus.
  51. Talk to Mike Peter's about an SLR camera.
  52. Did it, but not getting one since I can't afford it now :(
  53. Return phone calls!
  54. Watch a movie.Sick day with Eugene 1/5/08
  55. Bake cookies. Party cookies!
  56. Breathe.
  57. Figure out a way to complete a bunch of these items at once!
  58. Network.
  59. Organize your files.
  60. Go out to the movies.
  61. Have TexMex.1/7/08 Tinga's for lunch!
  62. Go to the zoo.
  63. ROAD TRIP!
  64. Take a vacation.
  65. Stay in a hotel.
  66. Go to the beach.
  67. Go swimming.
  68. Alex's graduation party 6/28/08
  69. Go ice skating.
  70. Learn to shoot a gun.
  71. Relax.
  72. Order prints of photos from ofoto.
  73. Done over and over!
  74. Put those prints in albums.
  75. Play GameCube.A bunch since 1/1/08
  76. Play DS.1/1/08
  77. Play Guitar Hero!DAILY!!!!
  78. Take some CEU classes now.
  79. Take a Core-13 class over the summer.
  80. Find more goals to make this list reach 365!
