So today was kind of eh. My lab TA ripped a hole in the first project that I did. This is really scary what if he continues to grade low all semester. I just don't understand what I did wrong. People are mad at me and I don't know why nor do I think that I deserve their wrath. I also received a call asking if I want to keep any tack from my horse

Yeah, that's understandable, it has to be basically like losing a close friend :/ Did you ask the TA wtf was up? I had a teacher like that for two consecutive classes (4 hours a day, twice a week) a couple of terms ago like that and on top of being a complete dick he also graded like a nazi. He also looked like a greasy used car salesman. Considering his former profession was as a travel agent in Vegas, the image is accurate. Anyway, I had him for a class which I'd taken in different forms before and aced(American History), and I get my first test back with a big-ass F on it. I was pissed off and I talked to him for about an hour after class, he explained why he graded like that and even though I foosed most of his tests, I ended up with a B in his class. Hopefully your TA isn't just being a cock, but talk to him. He might let you do some kind of extra credit or resubmit the assignment.

By the way, I'm not mad at you personally so much as irritated with the situation as a whole.
