It's worth a watch if only to giggle at how remarkably this episode failed as a good piece of television. It was edited weird, the acting was shit, most of it made little to no sense.
And the bit at the end, aside from being entrapment, would have never ever, in a billionty years come even remotely close to holding up in court.
I mean, there's no escaping it. The episode in itself was a farce. Plus, it had a ton of that "Jorja makes a sourpuss face" which I hate because she looks SO bizarre.
And Greg pissed me off.
Basically the best part of the episode was the bit with Nick at the very, very end.
That's what it felt like to me, too. But why sever the viewers' connection with him too? I just felt it was unnecessary. At the same tonight though, it was unrealistic to believe that they could maintain a marriage while being so far away from each other for 99% of the time; perhaps we just enjoyed being blissfully ignorant.
You're right, it was very unrealistic to maintain in the first place. They painted themselves into a corner and instead of having him come home and remain unseen, they crapped all over years of beautiful (and not so beautiful....frustrating, really) story arcs.
What I DID like: their house. Holy moly, I want to live there! What I didn't like: that Sara's birthday is actually in Sept. That no one seemed to believe a single word out of her mouth. That Brass wasn't there. And really everything else.
The one thing I liked about this episode, other than Nick's cheesy smile at the end, is that Brass wasn't in it. These shit writers would have had him accusing her of murder and getting all pissy that she cheated on his BFF, Grissom.
