What a coincidence! So am I! >>sandy_blondeOctober 3 2006, 03:08:16 UTC
In all living things, they evolve through mutations in their DNA. Chickens evolved from non-chickens through small changes caused by the mixing of male and female DNA or by mutations to the DNA that produced the zygote, which contained the mutations that produced the first true chicken.
Before that first true chicken zygote, there were only non-chickens. The zygote cell is the only place where DNA mutations could produce a new animal, and the zygote cell is housed in the chicken's egg. So, the egg must have come first.

But if you look at it the Christian way, then God created animals, so the chicken would come first?
Or it could be the egg. A dinosaur laid it or something and it mutated into a chicken.
I'm not really answering your question, am I.
