Two bits of bad news today.

1. My friend Lisa had an epileptic fit in college today and had to be rushed to hospital.

2. My grandad is very ill and getting worse, and nobody is quite sure why.
I cant even visit him because I'm ill myself atm and he lives in Wales.
I was supposed to be going this weekend but :P

I hope she's on good anti-seizure meds, though.. erm, what's up with your grandfather??

His potassium levels went really high because of the meds he was on (lots...I dont know what they were all for) so they took him off them but it didn't fix it and they don't know what's causing it now. :(

While it sounds off to me to take him off all of them, it’s not my field and I sincerely do not know. I don’t always defer to experts but if I’m totally ignorant (or almost) - can only hope for the best, were my own family involved that is. Hope they find out soon and have a useful treatment, really... good luck. And that in any case, of course, (even if he comes through this hale and hearty :) ) that he has had a good and full life.
