Poppies

Can you check where the funds go? I was once told it's not the same place as the red poppies.

I always try to wear a white one WITH a red one, to commemorate the bloodshed while hoping for the peace.

(a much longer explanation can follow but not while i'm at work.)

It's not the British Legion. The Legion has refused three times to accept the funds. There are a number of charities involved.

I can understand the wearing of the two. I intend to, after all.

No problem.

I ended up ordering a box of 25, and so far 21 people have said they want them, so that's going to be about 70p each.

Poppies have arrived today (Nov 1st).

I should be in the Auld Hoose on St Leonards St from 9-10.30 tonight (maybe later, but I don't guarantee that on account of having to work and inconvenient stuff like that).
You could collect from me there or I could hand yours over to scunthorpe and you can stalk him instead... :-)
