Do any other buns out there prefer nomming barley straw to hay?  And is barley straw just as good fur us as hay, does anybun know?

We prefer hay ( the dust free stuff from Uncle Norman ) - but to be fair we're often quite partial to a bit of his straw too.

It tends to depend on which bit looks nomiest and is nearest ... !

He owns the Dust Free Hay Company, luckily for us, it isn't far from where we live so we send mummy to pick it up fursonally rather than paying p&p. It is very good, and many of the other buns order from him.

We send our 2-foots there too, but it's a 200 mile round trip fur them

I prefer hay but I will eat it. I guess it is all good roughage.

Nutritionally it's not as good as hay but it's good fibre and produces big golden poops which 2-foots seem to like

We get bales of organic hay (I also have Kimberley at the moment) but the baled hay is a big favourite and has some barley straw including seed heads in it which always go first (and did with Bruno as well). In fact it has some of everything in it!

We have Barley straw in our hutch as bedding and must admit to being a little partial to a munch or two.
Like Bella and Greta and Crdric and Annie we use the Dust Free Hay too.

Mum doesn't use straw indoors for Alfie so he never gets to try it.
