i know i'm young, but lets face it the world is going to the dogs (and not the beagle named Pokey either.) i hate taking the transit although i do learn quite a bit about stupidity and selfishness and people if they don't fall into the last two Catagories... it's a big if... i was on the Brampton

I think society stopped caring. You just need to look around at the generation coming through schools now. They talk back to elders and think it is funny that their teachers can't defend themselves even when being pushed by students. I'm not saying the older generation is right (way older than us. lol), but like you I was brought up to move seats on the bus for the elderly, hold open doors when someone is behind you and say thanks to acts of kindness. (suddenly I feel like an old person moaning about the good old days... I think I am still too young to qualify for that)

Respect seems to be beyond some people, not all. Not all teenagers are disrespectful but it seems like the majority from an outsiders POV.
