Yes - I always loved my film SLR but found film an increasingly expensive medium but couldn't justify huge sums for a D-SLR. Last June I succumbed and went for the Nikon D60 and kits lenses. I was sorely disappointed with initial results and nearly packed it in again but then I won a year's membership of a local camera club. I rapidly learned a bit more about post-processing (I was a photoshop virgin back in September) and have raced on since then and by December, a trip to the Galapagos confimred that I had already grown out of the D60 and got some better lenses. It took until Feb to save up for my gorgeous D300 and now I've got the Nikkor 300mm prime to boot : / I mustn't buy more kit, I mustn't buy more kit, I mustn't buy more kit (mm, maybe just a 1.7 TC
